ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing, developing and maintaining web content to represent the documentation of the process for and defining, creating, and automating metrics that determines the processes for maintaining web content. Duties included managing over 8000 pages, 500 content editors. Content was converted to BroadVision Environment programming that used Oracle, C++, C#, ASP, Vbscript, JavaScript, Java Server Pages, Java, and Java server side programming. Knowledge of how these worked together was a must but programming in the languages was not needed. All programming was done using Dreamweaver, and notepad.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Worked as the resident artist for all sites using PaintShopPro, Photoshop
  • The Information Architect for the Intranet
  • Converted ColdFusion forms into ASP/Vbscript CDONTS forms. Used ODBC to connect to a database to set up data sources with it.
  • Developed the server-side Java, HTML, JavaScript, ASP, Vbscript, DHTML pages, using, HomeSite, Dreamweaver, UltraDev, and FrontPage
  • Scripted presentations of dynamic content of individual departments within the Company for an internal site, The Bridge, and started the framework for the same on our Client site, The Connection.
  • Continued work with Internet technologies and applications, as well as research and testing. We used BroadVision One-to-One Publishing and Info Exchange environments and integrating with external Java-based applications and Servlets. The focus was on personalization, workflow, content management, site redesigns, improved functionality, Source Safe, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Involved in all stages of development, including project management, building functional specifications, creating sophisticated graphics and layouts, constructing databases, and designing user interfaces and tools.
  • Created the framework design of the templates. Created color lines, gray lines, and wire frames.
  • This job also included exposure to programming in R5 Lotus and Domino Databases, ERooms portal.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Maintained legacy ColdFusion systems as new systems, ASP, Vignette CMS, MOSS, were brought in to replace them.
  • Created an interactive ASP forms driven with CSS and with a SQL backend where Parents can find the campus where their children will go to based on the zone they are in.
  • With a team, helped create a MOSS environment for the School District including but not limited to setting up security groups and sites for different departments.
